Musical Instrument Construction Site

Hi there people,

Just today I've finalised my instrument making website enough for it to go live. What do you think?

And more specifically: waterpigs.co.uk/lutherie/ and it's child pages.

I haven't done extensive cross browser testing, so I don't know what you're going to see if you're on IE.

The audio players should work pretty much anywhere, I've got HTML5 falling back to quite a nice little flash player.

Any comments on the visual design, copy and general usability would be most welcome, any notes about code quality will also be gratefully received. More particularly: the usability of the photo slideshows. I haven't added visual cues for pause and next, but hover/click and find out.

Also, please note the little bit of javascript that tells the user whether or not *now* is a good time to phone me (in the contact section, bottom right of the lutherie pages). I'm particularly pleased with that, especially as I think it's timezone independent.

Cheers,
Barnaby

P.S. Too much border-image? I rather like it, but I might have gone overboard in my enthusiasm :) The borders are made from photos of the binding (edge decoration) from my instruments.
